Royer Studios’ animated host, Lakeena, guides students through the steps to produce Q&A-style podcasts in just 3 class periods. Working in pairs, students learn the facts and propose strategies transform the health of their communities. They record and edit the content of their podcasts using Soundtrap.com and design a podcast cover on Canva.com, so that their messages are ready to be posted and shared.

This 3-part workshop works for both face-to-face and remote learning. It can be completed in 3 class periods with facilitation or assigned as a self-paced project.

Speak Out can be done on any smartphone, tablet, or computer.
